INNOVATION AND STARTUP VALIDATION SESSION

As part of its ongoing efforts to foster entrepreneurship, B S NEGI MPPS, under the dynamic leadership of Principal, Mrs. Namita Mamgain organized an expert session on 8th August 2025.

Led by Prof. Sudhanshu Joshi, from Doon University , the session focused on "Innovation/Prototype Validation – Converting Innovation into a Start-up", with a special focus on "Achieving Value Proposition Fit and Business Fit." The session aimed to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset among students and provide practical insights into turning innovative ideas into viable start-ups. Mr. Joshi, an expert in innovation and start-up development, highlighted the importance of prototype validation, user feedback, and iterative design in building successful ventures. He emphasized aligning products with real customer needs (Value Proposition Fit) and ensuring the overall business model is scalable and market-ready (Business Fit). Through interactive discussions, real-world examples, and case studies, students gained a deeper understanding of the start-up process—from ideation to execution. The session offered a clear, actionable roadmap for students to validate their ideas and navigate the start-up journey. It was insightful, engaging, and well-received, inspiring many to pursue innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
